Does Anyone Have Information About The Philly Club Scene??

In August I will be looking to bring in a few top quality dj's for a party at a Nice venue in the Philadelphia area. As well as an afterhour's party following the party.
I need any input as to your experience's and or overall take on the Philadelphia scene (GENRE WISE)other than Drum & Bass,and breaks.

That's the New York forum (I only just realized that we don't have an "East Coast" forum), but I'm fairly sure there's a decent number of Philly kids there as well, so they'd probably have more information for you.

the huge congregation of gay men up there love their EDM. pretty much anything will fly if you advertise it properly. i played my usualy deep/tech/prog up there and they liked it. about 200 people showed up. we marketed for about 2 weeks. flyers in parking lots. 2 spots per day on the radio during peak hours and of course myspace.
it can be done proper if you put effort in it and get the right people involved. |

We have money.We have sponsors.We have excellent DJ contacts.We will be bringing in 2 big name djs at night. For afterhours we are planning on bringing in some excellent techno djs who are well known within the techno community.:) "PHILLY PEEPS" will be very happy with my selections I assure you.
We have excellent contacts in the house and techno communities. So it will almost completly be house and techno dominated. That is not to say that we will not have trance for our afterhours party.
Getting alot of PMs thank you everyone. Once our dates and conformations are made whoever has offered any response will be given free tickets to one of my events from me. As well as some drinks:)
