not really

the ref killed it with the red card, but he had no choice

abidal = IDIOT

Why the hell do that at that stage of the game. Had it been the 85th minute ok but in the beginning of the first half simply makes no sense at all.
noikeee

Yeah I'd much rather let the Italians have their goal and at least play the remainder of the game with 11 men, rather than risk the wrath of the referee's red and a penalty conceded.

France really have no chance now.

I feel sorry for poor Nasri, the guy only got 16 minutes.

We are lucky with only 1-0 at half time. So many opportunities missed by Toni makes me think the game is not over yet :)

I hope this means the end for Raymond Domenech. Woeful squad selection from the beginning of the tournament (and even in call-ups, see Trezeguet) meant that when he actually put out a proper line-up, it was already too late.

And don't even get me started on Abidal. I hope Barca offload him this summer.

I'm expecting more AMAZING from David Villa to put Italy away in the quarters (see his goal against them in the friendly earlier this year).

And then, to top it all off, images of Cassano in whitey-tighties at the end celebrating put me off my dinner. :mad:
