First MWTA to play at the new SpyBar?
View this Thread in Original format

I know they've barely been back open for a week, but I was thinking about this during class this afternoon and my interest was genuinely piqued - has anyone here (other than Dino) had a chance to spend time in the booth at SpyBar?

:conf:

One of the things I've been most eager to hear about the new place is how well DJ's like the new sound system. I've definitely heard nothing but good things from those of you who've been there, but I'd really like to hear what those of you who are DJ's think of it from that perspective.

For some reason I've been really curious about the systems at both Sonotheque and Spy - have heard nothing but rave reviews from the partiers, so I'm wondering if it's wrong to assume that carries over to the jocks as well?

Maybe I'm just so used to having random difficulties/inconsistent experiences with sound pretty much everywhere and anywhere I've played at one point or another that the sonic fanboy in me is just excited to hear people so excited about the sound quality at these places.

And if no one has really jumped on it yet, feel free to use this thread to spam your upcoming appearances there - just make sure you come back and let us know what you think afterwards. :p

i still cant get over the mega size of the dynacords hanging from the ceiling, its unreal, you have to see it to believe it....forgot to pay attention to the size of the monitors, it sounds so good everywhere that i wonder if you even need them :disbelief

These responses are inadequate. The larger populace demands to know!

If someone wants to give me a booking, I will be more than happy to provide a full report after the show.

I see you like things from way back in the past. It explains most of the track selection during your sets.:stongue:
