Who has a Flash cart for their DS? I just picked up an M3DS Real and 4gig Micro SD and love it. It has made me blow the dust off the DS which has sat around for a few months now and get some usage. The GUI is pretty good, and it allows playback of movies, mp3's and other file types, as well as internet browser, PDA, and of course ROM playback. If u don't have a Flash cart, get one!

nice! Yea I'm going to get a psp as well, but I have done 0 research as to whats involved with getting one of those up and running. Is it a chip and are the new slims still modable?

I actually got mine online for 200 came flashed already so all i have to do is update with custom firmware of my liking. Extremly simple plus the homebrew apps they have are sweet. I still have my ds waiting for some decent games to come though.

What type of games u looking for on the DS? Mario Kart is decent and the online play with a handheld is cool. Nanostray is a shooter game, and its very similar to the arcade game 1942/1943 if u remember those, but its spaceships instead of planes. I like that one...also Contra 4 is good. Theres a bunch of good DS games I'm coming across.

I have the M3 Real for about 2 weeks now and it works great! The R4 which is older also works well, but lacks some features the M3 Real has. What are u looking to do with it? If u just want to play DS roms, the R4 or Cyclone is great. If u want more features with homebrew and such, the M3 Real will work well. xxx.modchipcentral.com will get u one. www.tehskeen.com is a great site so u can do some research and read reviews for the different carts and see which one fits your needs. Whatever u go with, I would get one that takes the micro sd cards as they support much higher memory sizes for more rom and file storage.

Legally purchase all of my games. They're not that expensive, I believe.

I had my DSLite since launch of 2006 packed with a 2GB microSD and R4DS (when it was top of the line).
The guys made R4 also made M3 Simply. They just came out with a new model, N5, which supports microSDHC, etc.
I can recommend those of you to either get the R4 (limited to microSD only, not microSDHC), N5 or the CycloDS (supports microSDHC).

Hey, I still buy my games, even though I can download them right off the bat, but only if it's worth getting or if it comes with a weird peripheral (Guitar Hero On Tour).

So what's the point of this thread again? For calling all DS owners or calling all DS modders? Misleading topic title!
