Drew’s experience in Djing, Promoting, and Running Parties extends over a period of 7 years with his interest in dance music beginning just before the explosion of progressive house in Europe and Australia. He is self taught and can play across all formats including Vinyl, Cd and Ableton. His quick knack of picking up new technology has allowed him to play a variety of sounds ranging from house, electronica and techno. His residencies and guest spots have included Neon Elektrik, Renaissance, preSSure, Unify, Tickled Pink, Obsession, Interview, Volume, Circulation and NYE 06 where he played the midnight crossover set at St Kilda baths which had just over 2 thousand people.

Some of the Djs he has supported along the way include James Zabiela, Nick Warren, Phil K, Nic Fancuilli, Luke Fair, Steve Porter, Danny Bonnici, Jaytech, Andy Moor, and Kriece

In early 2005, a couple of mixes landed in the hands of the bosses at Fiberline Audio, one of the very first and highly regarded fully digital labels based in the US. This diversity encouraged them to contact Drew and not long after asked him to join them in the role of Artist and Relations Executive for Australia. As part of the role he also hosted a monthly radio show which concentrated on the deep side of house and techno pushing artists like David Keno, Butane, Luca Bacchetti, Ludovic Vendi and the then relatively unknown Robert Babicz.

It smells like a cruiser version of it DrewsKi, will have to check it out on the monitors tonite. I'm a massif fan of the original..

You must, must have creamed over Error Error's remix of his 'Under Pressure'.. It's my tune of '08! The intro might be heard as a bit prolonged and loungey/boring/whatever.. but when that baby kicks.. everyone's droppin pants!!

Can't wait mate, hope I'm in the country for it

With a lifelong passion for the dance floor and the accompanying electronic music, Danni B has risen to become one of Melbourne’s fast-rising female DJs.

As a hobbyist spinning tunes in the bedroom from 2003, she first made the transition from the floor to the club decks in 2005 and, after realising that the best way to get a regular gig was to host a night, Danni envisioned ‘Tickled Pink’ - conceived from the fact there was space in the scene for a female DJ night - now one of Melbourne’s highly successful monthly events.

While the night is populated by the femme equation, Danni also realised there was space to incorporate a male edge to the evening, with some of the country’s most renowned and revered producers sharing their tunes with the punters. As the night reaches its third year, it has become an institution for people looking for an unpretentious night out.

With influences ranging from electro-fuelled textures of Tiefschwarz, to the Techno minded Vitalic, Stephan Bodzin and Thomas Schumacher and pocketed inspiration from the likes of Sasha, Digweed, The Chemical Brothers and James Holden, Danni’s sets are never put down to one sound. There’s always room for a mixture of records, which has helped secure residencies and rotations across Victoria, including Pretty Simple @ Ffour, Spunk, Sunny, Darkbeat, Push, Mish Mash, Room680, Metro and onesixone. Danni has also been fortunate enough to play alongside some of her heroes in Christian Smith, Jona, Tiefschwarz, Steve Porter, Yuksek, Paolo Mojo, Hernan Cattaneo and more.

Danni also collaborates with other major promoters, helping her successfully promote not only her institution, but those of others as well, culminating with a cross-promotion for the recent ‘Roomember’ reunion.

With enthusiasm, a musical breadth close to complete and a presence behind the decks many aspire to, Danni B is one to watch over the many years to come.
