We blame PC Gamer. The Spore Creature Creator has not even been available for a week and the YouTube is already full of variations on the monster they posted a picture of last week. Is this what Will Wright really had in mind?
There's no doubt about it now; come September, everyone who plays Spore will have their home planet invaded at some point by a bunch of phallic shaped space invaders.
It's going to be a mixture of hilarity and agony, depending on whether you see the funny side in watching a civilisation you created over twenty hours being wiped out by a race who hasn't yet learned to put their ill proportioned penises in their spacesuits.
