| Mostly talent and 21+ for me, but a cool venue always helps. Also helps to not be working in some podunk ass-town the day of too, but I guess that is beyond your control...or IS it? |

| Cool so NYE is still going on! Never been to the block party event but heard nothing but good things about it. And i will have to agree, talent that doesnt hit the states as often if it isnt to late to book them. |

Since I don't have too much planned as of yet for August, I would honestly probably go anyway *if* the talent was good. But with that being said, I LOVED Armin last year in downtown!!!!! It was so amazing and we had such an amazing time as the hotel was looking over the event and we could even watch them set up and hear Jennifer Rene warming up ;) That event would be nearly impossible to beat IMO. When it gets down to it, I just truly hope they do something for Giant Village this August! |

Tiesto was great, but standing in line for over a full hour to get a drink in VIP was HORRIBLE!!!! That time, VIP was a waste of money with those long bathroom and drink lines. And then the fire dept coming in and temporarily shutting things down was undfortunate too. But I still had a great time overall and we just went and bought drinks and water in general admission. I'd do it again ;) |

It sucked only if you were there to see ass-esto. If you saw sanchez or z-trip, then it in ROCKED HARD!!!! Also, mushrooms and pills helped a lot. |

Nope, NYE is now canceled. In it's place, we will hold the "element-y canceled Giant NYE, and all I got was this lousy T-shirt" release party. |

| I figured Village was off after i saw Giant was doing EDC this year which is a bummer because I cant make it this year =[. Armin last year was awesome and the whole village experience in 06 was aboslutely insane as well. Hopefully next year! |
