That was an awesome game to watch, god damn. I hate Ronaldo, I hate Scolari, and I hate Nani...this really couldn't have turned out any better.
What happened to Portugal? They were in an easy group AND in their last game in group stage they rested the big guns and lost. Way to fail :D |

He was brilliant for me. Shocking result (although I'm not complaining). Portugal started putting on the pressure way too late in the game, and I'm sure they could have equalized if they hadn't waited till 10 minutes before the final whistle. Should set-up a great match for the semifinal. |

I first saw him Euro 04 and he looked a decent player there. Ugly as sin, but who cares when you have a right foot like his. |

apparently he owns portugal too... 2 goals in the 3rd place game in 06 and now a goal and assist in 08!
i said in 06 that i wanted to buy a schweinsteiger jersey and never did it.... 100% i am buying one now!!!!!!!! got the official jersey (wc06 + eu08), just no name or number... guess thats gonna change! :crazy: |

We attacked well, Deco in particular had a great game, however in the back we committed too many silly mistakes, the 2nd and 3rd goals simply shouldn't happen. We had a couple more chances, but Germany scored theirs and we didn't. They won fair and square.
Now time to support Croatia and Holland, nothing against Germany, I just don't particularly like them, plus Croatia and Holland are playing a more attractive football. |

He must have one of the longest surnames at the euro's, lagging badly behind Jan Venegoor of Hesselink. It's amazing how they can fit these names on the back's of replica strips. |

I thought the 3rd goal against you was a bit unlucky, I noticed a push on Ferreira from Ballack, but if Ricardo had stayed on his line then he would have gathered it :whip: |

i'm with you mate...was going for Portugal...but now Netherlands and Croatia...not that they are the best...but because they played the best football so far... |
