DJ Jean & Club iT

When I was in high school, a buddy of mine used to get a bunch of cd's from his older brother who travelled to Club iT and Amsterdam. He used to bring back all the newest cd's when he used to go (circa 1996-2000).

I am trying to track down a lot of this music in .mp3 format as all the cd's are scratched beyond belief now. I have found the following and am willing to share them all with whoever wants them. Even if you don't have any of the albums, please discuss other albums that are like this so I can look for them also. These were some great years of music and I think it is much better than the new stuff I hear every year.

DJ Jean-Strictly (Ibiza Edition)
DJ Jean-Strictly (Winter Edition)
DJ Jean-Strictly (Final Edition)
DJ Jean-Madhouse 2002 Volume 1

You should listen to music from Marcello, Erick E, 100% Isis, Marysol, Dimitri, Olav Basoski, Roog, Brian S, Jip Deluxe etc etc etc (can write a very long list here :p).

I agree, the music was very interesting back then, but most of it belonged to the gay-scene :p Alot of those CD's really are outdated when you hear them again, but a very few are true gems.

I still play this in my car occasionally, it's one of those things that are 100% guaranteed to make me feel good (cd 1). And not a load of music can accomplish that.

Back in the day, we were always fans of the Disc 2's because they were trance. Strictly 2, Ibiza 2, and Winter 2 were our favorites. Now I have an appreciation for Disc 1's. Winter 1 is awesome. I also like Final 1.

I would like to find a copy of DJ Jean-This Master's Choice. I am on Soulseek (actually Solarseek) if you guys want to chat/share music.

I used to have them all from the IT!

I still believe I have 1, 3 and 4 somewhere. 4 is good!!!

Get the danssalon Series! The Danssalon was unique and has been a good learning school for alot of good producer and deejays.
Examples are: Marco V, Benjamin and Fedde Le Grand.
Man I would love to get my hand on the Danssalon cd. Have also a few of them I believe.

Alot of the missing cd's are in posession of Christoph Voorn a jong brother of Joris Voorn. We worked together and shared a lot of music. Their oldest brother was a writer for a music magazine. (Good old days with the quick hands on new music) :stongue:

Any chance those iT cd's are MP3able?

I have burnt cd's 1&2 of DE DANS SALON. They are scratched pretty badly. I can get them to play somewhat in the CD player but the iMac wants nothing to do with them.
