As much as I hate Oakie now, there's something about the original Tranceport CD that's just SO ING GOOD. Greece, Rendezvous, Cafe, 1998, Gamemaster.... what happened to those times?! The good music was so plentiful...
Omega_Blue
good music mixed so ing badly though

I disagree. I say Tranceport was one of the very select few things he did right.

This CD holds a very special place in my heart since this was what first got me into EDM.

I love this but my favorite Oakenfold CD is still Voyage Into Trance

Yeah Voyage into Goa is fantastic. Still play it now and then. It have also been re-released like 50 times or so. :P

Traceport remains to be my definitive answer to anyone who wants to here "real" (or "classic" nowadays) trance

the CD I bought came with either choice of poster or dvd with psychadelic visuals. I chose the DVD and it was kinda lame, wish I had chosen the poster. However on the plus side my roomates this semester seem to be in to partaking in what that little guy up there is smoking, so maybe we will put that DVD to good use after all.

Tranceport is definitely amazing.

step out of the nostalgic mindset for a second and listen to it objectively, and i think you'll realize that it's a lot of classic 99ish trance that's programmed and mixed very, very poorly.
