My friends mom fell for buying a PS3 as a bluray player beacuse the guy said it would make her regular DVDs look high def. :stongue: |

| I think the older folks currently are intimdated of tech stuff...as our gen ages we will be a bit more savy on these things...but I also think they thought that too.:( |

The problem is that technology went from being a slowly persistent daily exposure, to an insanely quickly changing world. We went from computers pretty much just in the work place and in schools, to mobile phones being more powerful than a computer from 15 years ago. Technological change is happening at such an "alarming" rate for them, it is impossible to keep up. So really it is just a generational thing, that will disappear when their age group finally dies out. |
