I'll upload a set of her's tonight.
She's very diffrent from anyone else and it's a completly diffrent sound than poeple are used to. I would compare her to Par Gryndvik, Magda, or any of the Berlin based producers.The Berlin style minimal is very diffrent from the other sounds right now.So it takes alittle bit to get used to. When I saw Camea live she was vastly diffent than in her set's. I'll put it up tonight.:D Cool? Like i've said before if you like smart techno then you'll love her if your not a fan of minimal then you will not.
Camea spins the Berlin minimal that is very much the underground of our music so it's diffrent from what you are accustomed to hearing. Some love it some hate it. I like it alot but then again I have a diffrent and more diverse taste than some.
To me thats what is so amazing about music. Everyone likes something abit diffrent. This is very diffrent. |

thanks for taking the time to post a link, i wish more people took the time to do this. unfortunately though, i thought that camea set was one of the most boring things ive heard in quite a while. we have minimal djs up here in tampa that sound better than that (andy mara, unaslim), no need to fly a berliner across the atlantic. dont worry, that event will no doubt pull a lot of people in from the name's reputation alone im sure. |

Everyone has different taste in music. I too feel as though. It doesn't have as much energy as some good minimal sets but then again, she was vastly different when I saw her at the Volytl party in Detroit. She doesn't have very many recorded sets. So basically it isn't her best set that I've heard. I have 2 more from her that have more energy although I wanted to send you her newest set that I had.I listen to alot of tech. Trust me when I say that she is an amazing dj,LIVE. If your interested. I can upload more for ya. Let me know.
Also I saw Unaslim at Laundry bar. I don't normally say bad things about djs so I won't but she is pretty hot. I'd do her. |

slim is extremely hit or miss. she played one of the best sets ever at one of the parties i throw at my house, only to follow it up at hpc the next night with a snoozer.
at the beach party i threw recently (the one you talked about that you weren't even in attendance :-) she managed to compress 20 or so people together in front of the booth and had them movin for a long time. |

Ya minimal is like the new prog. You can see certain great djs on a Friday and be boring then on Saturday they tear the roof off, Being one of the best sets that you've ever seen. I think thats why I like it so much because you don't know what your going to get, legendary or piss poor. lol
Ya Unaslim is good. Like you said I've heard mixes that were good but I didn't have very high regard for her after I saw her train wreck several times in a 2 hour set. So its really hard to tell sometimes.
Oh and by the way good luckj with the party biz. I'm putting something on very soon. I'll send you some info on our party in Philly and our events in Mia and NY in Sept,Oct. Although I wont be sending you anymore pms. I think everyone knows not to send certain people private messages that share them.lol Not that I care its just sortof funny. |
