As I said before:
There is a saying that history repeats itself... but everytime does not have to EXACTLY the same as it was before..
Bush has made the Muslim what Hitler made out of Jews.. he made life miserable for Muslims not only in Iraq or Afghanistan.. but also in US, UK.. Muslims are looked down upon today like Jews were during Hitler's time. |

your ability to analogize would score you a 100 on the SAT. If you are suggesting that Bush somehow made the world view muslims negatively you are severly misguided. The picture of the muslim today is not painted by bush, but rather by the bombing of the world trade center (in the 90s and 2001), the protests calling for death to reporters, suicide bombings, bombings of buildings around the world, the treatment of muslim women, and honor killings. Unfortunately for most muslims, their own people damaged the perception of their religion. Additionally, spreading blame everywhere except upon oneself doesn't make people very sympathetic to one's cause. As for Jews, they were not looked down upon because of Hitler. At that time, there was a resentment towards jews among some people in society that hitler also shared. He did not create anti-jew sentiment, rather, he acted upon that sentiment in unimaginable ways. |

Largely want to shun reality, I just hate it when at airport Asian and citizens of so called 3rd world countries have to form seperate line than those from US/EU..
And just how must it be for just to be a Muslim with beard and approach the security check. Go and face it, the stare from others, the extra frisking and sometime strip frisk because you are 'Mullah'! Look he is Jew! Look he is 'Mullah'!
Admit it! Dont even tell me you dont invite extra attention if you are a muslim.
90% of terrorists in recent attacks were Muslims, but not all Muslims are terrorists and not all terrorists are Muslims. |

who said otherwise. the fact is, however, that while not all terrorists are muslims, a disproportionately greater amount of terrorists are muslims than any other single demographic (except perhaps the category: male). So, while people may object to the not so random tactics of questioning muslims, it is economically and logically sound to do so. Whether we like it or not the chances of catching a terrorists are greater by questioning a muslim than by questioning a midwestern american farmer (despite the low probability in both cases). |
