Also another question...
When do you see other people as "too old" for clubbing? How old does a person at a club have to be for it to seem "weird" to you?
I've seen 60 year old hippies dancing at outdoor parties. Mind, that's not exactly clubbing, is it.

i don't see how age is relevant to anything. I will be hitting 30 next year and i have done every kind of night imaginable musically (trance, house, breaks , techno, dubstep, even hardcore:nervous: ) in the last 12 years of my life. Sometimes i wouldn't go out for months at a time, and others (like now..Danny Howells tonight hihi) i go out anywhere from 1 to 4 times a week.
When you get older, i find it has less to do with who is playing. It is still important of course, but you have considerably more income to throw around generally than in the younger days and the focus becomes on having a really great time. I guess i've become that guy that when i was young i used to hate. The one that spent a lot on getting a table and drinking good hooch instead of dropping 10 bucks on some pills made in a shed somewhere. When you need a break from tearing ass its great to enjoy watching the younger generation gurn their faces off to amazing music.
im changing my name back to puff daddy, and i will keep going out as long as i feel like the music still makes it worth it.

I've pretty much stopped already. Apart from the odd festival, I don't think I'll be attending many EDM events again.
Main reason is the fact I can't be impressed by today's EDM anymore, to me it just doesn't compare to stuff from 8-10 years ago.
I've had my 12 years of fun though, it's been awesome.

I saw this lady at ultra.

I slowed down a bit at 30, still doing house parties and a few big events, decided at 32 we wanted kids, so only go out a couple of times a year.
Not because I feel to old or don't enjoy the music anymore, more that I don't want to miss the time with my son.

I think there is a difference between solely 'EDM' nights and normal club nights.
The nights i go to whether it was crasher, the gallery or gods and now still the odd the crasher, off the rails, planet zogg and when i can Digital Society are all generally specialist music with crowds who enjoy the music for what it is, hence age is not a concern - i mean to be honest i couldn't care less, as long as i see people having a good time and enjoying the music then its all good, and i am sure that the average age of most nights is much older than say the normal nights the same club may run, i see plenty of older people at these events and i have not thought twice about it, although something i have grown out of it is being a cyber-kid ha!.
I can imagine seeing myself cutting down in a few yeas on non EDM nights, particularly normal generic commercial club nights, that scene and the reasons for people going are generally different, my reasons simply involve going with a group of mates, getting drunk and having a good laugh and getting a kebab on the way back home, the music doesn't really matter, its all dross to my ears anyway.

I saw a guy who looked to be about 60 at a Ferry concert..and he was the most energetic of the crowd. He was jumping up and down, dancin and pumping his fist in the air. It was strange, but hey, I shouldn't discriminate. I haven't gotten tired of EDM yet, and once I get old, I may be like that guy one day. haha.

i pretty much stopped in 2004 when i was 23, now i may go to a club/rave/party once or twice a year. so far this year my wife and i went out to see Underworld when they came to ATL but that's it.
i still love dance music and listen to it all the time, just at home and in the car instead of venues now. it's just too hard to stay out so late after a long week at work, we're not as young as we used to be.
