edit: and for those who were saying that this was a boring match, wtf are you talking about? Both sides did what they usually do, Spain attacked, Italians defended and counter-attacked. Both sides had their chances and this was a great match, wtf. |

Indeed, I thought it was a great match as well - not all good matches finish 3-2.
I thought the Spaniards were going to put one in about 8 times and it never happened. I think the Italians took more dives than shots on the game - exactly why I cannot stand Italy or anyone that would stoop so low as to cheer for them.
Italy is the reason many Americans hate "soccer." |

It's only because the Italians won the World Cup - the American media glamorizes Italy as the best example of the game for that reason, and the whole perception of the game over here suffers for it - particularly because over here we watch mostly hockey and American football, where you don't stay on the ground unless you actually broke something. |
