Samurai/Samourai sauce
View this Thread in Original format

ok, pretty obvious what this was going to be about.

Frites with samourai sauce. Definitely the best combination.

Does anyone know if you can purchase the samourai sauce they use in the chip stalls? Or alternatively know a recipe for the sauce?

I'm really missing its awesomeness.

Yes I've tried google to no avail, just a whole bunch of links to people raving about how good the sauce is, and asking for recipes:haha:

Cheers

(and yes I know Belgian food is more than just frites, I did have plenty of other food when I was there)

For once its not about the F1 you're talking :p

anyway, translation of the ingredients:

vegetable oil
egg yolk
vinegar
red pepper
mustard
water
sugar
chili
salt
chemical

Just try making a regulard mayonaise and add the vinegar, peppers and chili (blended).

Havent done it yet but how hard can it be.
