Now was there ever a D.J called Octapus in the rave scene that actually did this?
is this even technically possible? |

they did it in hamilton, i figured they did it here since they used the same flyer.
And eight decks was sick in Hamilton.
Bongo machine was amazing and Glaude scratching was unreal! :eyes: |

the 2x4 on the flyer was as in 2 DJs, 4 decks.
no one could play on 8 decks and have it sound like anything other than noise lol
Off the top of my heard I can only recall 2 DJs over the years that could play on 4 decks. Ken Ishii and Jeff Milligan. |

And Donald was using Crapato with vinyl...like final scratch...
Well it's better than letting the computer do ALL the work...
Man that boy likes to scratch... |

oh my glaude
just my preference, but not a fan of all of the scratching. even if he trainwrecked 50 times, it still would have been a great show. the man has an incredible energy behind the decks and is a real showman. always a pleasure hearing/seeing DG
missed jelo in the gallery. probably would have liked him a lot more there -- unfortunately I didn't love his 'opening' set for dan&glaude
mark oliver too... (Y) big thumbs up. great opening set; lots of fun. there were a few minutes when everything was going off during his set... one song where whoever was in charge of the fog went a little trigger happy with it... can anyone ID the song? Ive heard it quite a bit recently but cant really describe it much. all I remember from saturday is that the mainroom was a complete clowd for most of it
all-in-all, solid night @ guv. great music, crowd was very tolerable and I didnt get so drunk that I had to leave before 2am like last time. |
