| the US is still number one since it has a larger population and thus more obese people. australia just has a slightly larger % of our ppl that are obese, its misleading....but christ their is no excuse for being overweight in a country like australia where their is so much to do outside where u can get exercise. |

Exercise like Cricket ... man I miss throwing a few overs, but yeah, whether it be through visual perception through media or whatever, I never would have envisaged Australia as being a country with a high obesity rate at all. I'd also thought of you as generally being a highly active culture.
You only have to look at how successful you are at sport in general, you'd think this amount of publicised success would have a knock-on effect to the general public, who'd see that and want to take up a sport. |
