I heard about this on my way out the door to work this morning. Such a shame :( I really enjoyed his comedy.

Definitely sad news. He was one of my most favorite comedians since college when I started listening/watching his acts. :( Such an original, and he def paved the way for others.

He is my top 5 favorite stand up comedians of all time.
Its very rare to hear American comedians talk sense with humor.

i can't say i've ever really "felt anything" when seeing the death of a prominent figure in the news, but i couldn't help but feel sad today when seeing carlin died. he'll be missed
