Anyone have any details about Sensation '08? Or perhaps any info on when details will be released?

I'm still making my prediciton Tiesto will be there...but I'm hoping this isn't the case.

The only thing I know is that it won't be at the bell center because Celine Dion is there the entire weekend.

Expect something smaller, like an afterhour event maybe.

It'd be cool to know the line up (partial, whatever) ASAP as I'm sure lots of peeps will be outta town or planning to travel. That's my case anyway. It's almost July. If there's nothing good going down Labour Day wkend, I'm off to a beach b4 I go back to school.

Wonder if bookings will ressemble last year's...?

I *MAY* be dreaming, but I am pretty sure I saw a flyer for tiesto that weekend (facebook maybe??)

I am planning on coming up for the weekend. Getting sick of labour of Love and need a new place to party (have the week off, so I may as well enjoy it!)

Def need the lineup soooon though! (as well as other parties that weekend) wanna make plans.....

bah i doubt there will be a sensation montreal. Such an event is pretty expensive to organize im guessing, and organizers expect it to be packed to make maximum profit. If theres sensation quebec on the 30th and sensation montreal in the 31st, they will have to spend twice as much on organization and bookings. People will obviously not do both events so neither would be full, people will choose one or the other, in other words that usual sensation crowd would split in two, quebec isnt that far. So ya organizers would have to pay twice for the organization and booking and will get only half of the crowd, anyways thats how i see it. I think there will only be a sensation Qc, everybodys going to come and the place is going to be packed, i mean whats 2h of driving, and everybody has friends of family in qc so no need for hotel. So ya ill get really surprised if theres a sensation montreal this year. And besides, even if there is one, ill probably go to ALy & FIla, Gareth Emery, Carlos Fauvrelle and thomas gold insead, amazing lineup for like 15$ presale...a 15h event, better than sensation.

Rumors has it smaller venue with Steve Angello??
I heard a lot of other rumors like Beach Club, Cepsum, Metropolis... May not be an All night event...
The DJ's are all booked but I wouldn't know WHO???

Ugh, I hope that stays a rumour.

why is that? dont like angello?

Seen him 1x or 2x, wasn't impressed. Too much farty electro synthy stuff going on. His mixing wasn't great either.

But besides that, I just don't think Steve Angello is the best pick to have headline or even just play at a massive. I think massives should have bigger, better names, that's all. Steve Angello is nowhere near being a top DJ (imo) thus I don't think he should be booked at an event where more quality talent could take his spot.

balenblanc said this: "Please note that Sensation Montreal WILL be presented on August 31st, although not at the Bell Centre. New location to be announced very soon."
