as good as alesis is in the industry, the whole ipod sound quality for recording would deter me. a friend of mine just got an olympus digital recorder with two built-in microphones. he tested it at a toronto fc game (with the microphones) and a recorded set and it sounds PERFECT. he used to have the m-audio micro track which was pretty good but it doesnt even compare to the olympus when it comes to sound quality.
