Intuition's latest gem, Kimito's Lopez's superb 'Melkweg', features an emotion-tickling lead and brilliant key changes. Add to that some superbly subtle, but highly effective synths and you've found a winner! 'Melkweg' is featured on the Tiesto mix-compilation In Search of Sunrise 7 - Asia. The list of supporting DJs does not end there however, names such as Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond and Menno de Jong are big fans of the track, and have played it all over the world. The Original Mix caters to those that love a beautiful atmospheric melodic trancer, whilst the Alternative Mix steps it up a notch, with a rolling bassline and techy beats. |

A too narrow focus on production techniques is what kills trance these days; and is probably the reason why even your tracks sound zo dead and soulless.
This one, however, focuses on the more important items in a track. While the lead may be a tad too cheesy, I like the track overall and especially the break with that 'flowing synth' and gated strings :crazy:
Still, nothing beats his La Paloma remake which badly needs to leak :p |

| This track is a great one. I love it from beginning to end. The melody is pretty complicated. Its not the most complicated track in the world production wise but its still a really great track production wise. One of my favorites releases of the year so far. Very true that you can't please everyone. |

| Funny thing about this track is, when I hear it on ISOS7, it completely wipes away all the nasty memories I have of everything that comes before it on CD2. It's remarkable how a simple, pleasing, little trancer can outclass all those "PRODUCTION TO THE MAXIMUS!" tracks. (same can be said for every track that follows it on that CD too) |
