are you talking about the brazilian martial arts/dance? ive seen that performed and its preatty interesting especially the story behind it.it was origanally a form of fighting in africa similar to southeast asian martial arts and when they were sold into slavery and brought to the western world the slave owners prohibited anyform of self defence so they claimed it to be a religious based dance.theres a little history for ya i found interesting.

I've seen it done in front of me... This one older dude had his friggen chest sticking out from his stomach so much it looked deformed... his pecs were huge yet the dude was thin, I don't get it.

..whatever.. he'd walk around on his hands and do crazy with his legs at the same time... unreal.

Hehe, finally a thread about martial arts.
I practised kung fy with the first western guy who went to China, I did some Capoeira, a while ago, just the basics but found it too soft, and in a month or so I'll start kickboxing and taekwondo....
Fatboy
I'm doing Kung Fu, and i find it quite amusing.. We get to do a load of weapons including sword, stick and some i don't even know the name of.. Can't wait til i get to train with those..:D
JdDark
Fatboy, I only trained with a stick, but damn, I'm good at it, hehehehe, but I found kung fu too soft, we could never give the partner a punch, :(
Kickboxing on the other hand, full contact, hope to break some noses, and legs........

Lol:) Well, the style of kung fu i train now is full contact, and there's only four rules..

1 Don't hit the balls
2 Don't hit the throath
3 Don't put your finger in someones eye(!)
4 Don't hit the lower back

So hopefully some broken stuff will be on my list too:D

Peace

Hey guys i was just wondering.. if one blow to the throat would end the fight you have...

For instance..you get in a fight.. in a club.. (ofcourse not cool) the guy hits you in your face.. I never got hit in the face and got knocked-out.. so id probably still be standing.. and if id give him a punch on his throat...

MmmM could that kill him??

I learned some tricks, hehehehe, he Henkie, you live in Holland, why not come over here, so I can exercice a little..........hehehe
