I've got a MOTU Ultralite that works great with everything. However, Windows doesn't recognize any default sound card, so I can't do anything typically associated with what it refers to as 'what I hear' ie the pc's main out (not the Ultralite's). For example, I can't do anything related to streams, aside from just listening to them (no recording, doing my own streaming, etc.). I'm guessing it has something to do with firewire preventing the pc from really recognizing it as a main component, rather than just an auxiliary device, but I can't figure out how to fix this or find anything about a working solution for it. It seems it's a common problem, though.
Anybody managed to resolve this? |
