So during my reading it seemed as though this album was getting quite a bit of hype. I'll admit I haven't purchased it or 'obtained' it, but I did listen to the samples on Beatport.

I'm a bit confused, everything sounds the same. Seriously, everything sounds almost exactly the same. I actually do enjoy some of the tracks just based upon the samples, so I'm sure I would enjoy some of the tunes, but I still find it odd...

There are some seriously good tunes on this album. Haven't really had a chance to listen to the whole thing yet though and it's not like any of the tracks are new.

The release contains all four GAS albums, so it's not new stuff. I've heard of GAS before but i had never listened to any release in its entirety. Now i've listened to three of the four albums and i'm not really impressed. It's all very textural ambient/ambient techno with muffled beats, and yes it all sounds the same, more or less. Not bad if you like ambient, like i do, but the lack of variation over all of the discs makes the whole thing quite boring.

Looking forward to hearing this..I've previously only heard parts of 'Pop' and was really impressed.

I wasn't aware it was old stuff.

Only just through Zauberberg (CD2) and in my mind, its already an essential purchase. Some of the strangest and richest techno I've ever heard.

I have zauberg also and i think it's a sublime masterpiece.
