Dubfire @ Vessel SF 6/28- Roll call

This will be my first time at Vessel, doesn't really sound like my ideal club, but I won't be missing Dubfire. Anyone else going?
Presales are already $40. Seems a bit extreme for a joint that closes at 2 no? |

I am actually thinking, how they can afford Dubfire? Even at $40/$50 cover, with the size of Vessel, with the capacity around 300, they would still lose money. |

| vessel is one of my top clubs in sf right now. i've never encountered a bad crowd there and last call will go a little past 2. the base parties are especially sick as far as the crowd goes. dubfire/squallace will rip hard, but $40 is a bit much for me right now... especially since i spent a bill thursday night at fanciulli :o |

| i showed up at 11, had to pay for parking, discount cover, and opened a tab that my friends also used. saturday nights vessel will be open till 3-4, depending on the crowd size. |

+1 First time wasn't that great but after that its been awesome esp for Three and Nic. Also totally forgot about the guestlist deadline and ended up paying too. |

Actually picked up the presale online when it was still $20, I'm wondering what they're gonna be charging at the door.

| wow vessel cracked off hard! such a ripper crowd... hot ladies in skirts dancing on all the tables and platforms the whole night. the only setback was right as dubfire got on with his first track... the tweeters started popping like firecrackers every time the highs hit, which was annoying everyone, but they dealt with it. after 3 attempts to stop the music and fix it, we were ready to get a refund and bounce out, but as i was closing out my tab the system started working fine for pretty much the rest of the night. we left around 3 to stop by 1015 and say hi to everyone. vahid clued us in on rooz's dubfire underground @ the body shoppe. i was told it would be $40 a head, but we chanced it and the girls and i got in for just $40 total which was sick cause dubfire's body shoppe set blew his vessel set away! everyone was hammered off strong ass drink and dubfire was dancing and jumping around behind the decks dropping heavy ass tracks. we had to cut around 6 cause one of the girls was in bad shape after all the boozin, but otherwise what an awesome night! the base + rooz crowd up in body shoppe at the height of dubfire's set was just incredible. |

I think the clipping at vessel really hurt his set. the flow was off and you could tell he wasn't too happy about it. They cut the system that first time, but it came back a few times throughout the night and was really annoying.
decided to go to body shoppe after, and i've gotta say that's one of the coolest venues i've been to, ever. I hadn't even heard of the place until last night and without knowing anything about it, it was a great surprise. and I agree, Dubfire's late set was much much better there than at vessel.
Fun night, considering heading over to Oakland for the Oasis party in a little bit. |

| yea i can't believe it's been almost a year since i've been back to body shoppe. i like the new layout much better. the dj booth used to be where the bar is and the sound wasn't nearly as good over there. i suggested this venue for the lee burridge underground a few months ago, i really hope that's the big surprise once it's announced! :crazy: |
