Great News for Me!

I received notification that I was chosen as 'Outstanding Graduate' for the CIS department at the university I'm graduating from. They have also asked me to give a 5 minute speech during Graduation.
How cool is that!?!
Anyways, for all of you that are still in school or going back... stick with it!

LOL... No.
Tarleton State University (it's part of Texas A&M - College Station)
I "came here" because my Father has a ranch close by and they have a great CIS department.
Next step is MBA. Need to find a good school in Dallas. |

Do they distinguish between CS and CIS at TAMU? I know they have a 'decent' computer science department there, or at least they have a good reputation with Stroustrup on hand etc. Actually my thesis advisor's son is studying CS at TAMU and she hasn't been impressed with the way things are run in the department.
By the way, no offense but seeing as you're about to graduate with a bachelor's you may want to say "came here" next time :cool: |
