their newest album dropped a few days ago. It's epic. A bit more upbeat in tempo than the others. Ára Bátur seems to be the most epic of them. Definitely a different sound from them that I'm sure purists may not necessarily embrace, but I happen to find done well. There's still plenty of the old Sigur Rós sound to be heard (though nothing really like the stuff from their Von album).

Just go watch the video on their website. Gobbledigook is very upbeat comparatively.

and for the record, you can find this album sold in stores like Target in Flowery Branch, Georgia :wtf:
I didn't know they had gotten that big to be sold in major department stores that are in bum dixie. |
