PACHA reps were actually posting promo threads on other message boards late last nite for thursday and friday nite. If they were going to be closed for those 2 nites then why bother putting up Promo threads :conf:

...yeah, I edited my post- I wasnt aware of friday- when I spoke with my friend it was in regards to Saturday- which is one of the road show dates...

if they're posting promos then Id say its gotta be open- I only have good experiences with them, and I dont see them wasting their time to promo if they are going to be closed.....

Oh well, while this is the only place that was really bringing in any talent (Webster Hall aside, but I don't want to hangout with 19-year olds) I'm not to upset by it. NYC clubbing is not what it used to be and probably won't get any better anytime soon. Looks like we are all out of luck. Maybe one of us needs to invent a time machine and go back to 1997-2000. I'll even take 2002-05 Crobar/Spirit/Avalon at this point.

Pacha was 18+, and then 19+ on Fridays...just like WH. Saturdays are always the JP/Calderone/Boris night, so if that's all you're going to see, I'm pretty sure they'll land somewhere else, beit a new club or an existing one.

While Pacha isn't my favorite spot, you can't disagree that they always brought in strong talent and helped keep NYC relevant on the global dance scene. Hope they come back, or at maybe open something better :-)
