IMO really unnecessary.
The motorcitysoul remix does nothing for me, it's just a syncopated rhythm added to do the original. It's basically a bigger-room club mix. That was to be predicted given the chillness of the original. The emptiness and singularity of the original is what gave it its power IMO. This is a painfully generic proggy deep house track with eizauber's melody on top.
The Lawrence remix is a typical atmospheric, futuristic Lawrence treatment, and I like it, especially the spacey percs, Lawrence takes a step ahead adding in that dark countermelody and some abyssmal organ chords. Some pretty great basic channel style chords and simple, spaced out percussion. The melody has been cut up and recontexted sounds like it's from a sci fi movie
