From the Insomniac website regarding Nocturnal
"We're very excited to let everybody know that the headlining artists include electro duo Digitalism performing live, the legendary techno icon Richie Hawtin, Kaskade, Cosmic Gate and more!"
Here are my thoughts on that..
I'm thinking that electro and vocally drowned house is taking over, and will eventually push psy/prog/epic trance and progressive house out of the way, then electronica will slowly evolve into pure pop garbage.
Am I thinking too much into this, or is it already happening? I hope the massives and Vanguard/Tentation won't start to suck, talent wise.
edit: forgot to add mashups to that bundle of crap music..one mashup in a mix, fine..when it's half the set, that gets annoying. |

That's been happening for quite some time now. |

Massives in Socal will never be like a festival in Europe.
Doesn't matter if they bring Carl Cox, Hawtin or the Chemical Brothers..they pull the numbers, but they're all tweens. |
