It's a shame. No, it's a DAYAMN SHAME. All these all age raves/massives are getting stupid ridiculous every year. I met girls at this year's EDC that were like 15-16. hehehe, good times, but that's not the point!!!!!!!!!!!!! Iz just too Too many people. :(
that's wut made the GV event so great. 21+ venue, less kids means more enjoyment of music and friends, and other things IMO. ugh....please say it's coming in august..... :nervous: |

There definitely needs to be another (and several, for the matter) 21+ events to make up for the fiascos that have been happening with these promotion companies all year (and lets not forget 2008 Giant Maximus as well) and it seems that even when the economy in , 2008 seems to be the year of the quick buck for them so all the little children and/or their parents are taking the hit in these troubled times.
As much as I would have loved to see Giant Village, I still have heard nothing and I know Jason Bentley always talks about it because hes been playing there forever but hes been silent about it all year. Also, Giant Maximus should not be the only 21+ event... there needs to be several more or a new concept should be brought up if Giant Village really won't be happening this year. I think the only event that should be 18+ is EDC which is known to bring in the goons and mooks and they should still ID everyone strictly for that. Nocturnal has gone down the toilet as well but I think its not too late to save that one...
An all-minimal based DJ/artist party would be pretty kickin' if they could arrange for it! :crazy: |
