I don't think I would ever carry a knife while out. Pulling out a knife bumps the confrontation up quite a few levels in terms of seriousness. You never know what someone else is carrying, or what someone else is willing to do. |

i guess your best bet is to just like you said have a blade or some kind of small weapon on you
75% of the time i have a weapon on me
the world is full of crazy people so you gotta look out for number 1 (yourself), just make sure you dont step in number 2 ;)

ing bastids, We're sorry to hear that. Gotta agree with Zack on the knife thing though. Carrying a knife might make you feel safer but if you use it, it could put you in a lot of trouble. I'd rather see you get roughed up a bit than see you in jail because of a split second of stupidity.

That's a good way to get shot or lose it and end up with it in your chest.
Especially if you've had so little exposure to fighting that this is the first time you've ever been punched square in the face.

They were carrying knives also and cut his friends tounge so knife vs. knife. I think I would rather have it than not :p
