I had a dream last night (pg. 4)

the only thing that happened to me last night was right as i fell asleep, i had a quick dream that i slipped and fell and then i did that thing where my body jerked me awake and i saw a hallucination as my eyes jerked open. it was the figure of the torso of a guy. i know that sounds really weird lol has anyone had that happen? the hallucination lasted about 5 seconds which is kind of long to picture something there with your eyes wide open. i think it was just my eyes adjusting to me awakening so quickly.
i also have a recurring nightmare that happens about every 3 weeks. it's been going on for like a year. i started marking it on my calendar. it's always a possession type dream where some evil presence is in the room and i can't see it but i'm aware of it and it's trying to jump in my body. i wake up in a state of panic and can't go back to sleep. i usually have to turn a light on or go watch some tv to try and forget about it. it sucks:( |

| since i gave up believing in god i'm not scarred of anything supernatural. although i do have bad dreams when I'm stressed, I feel like my life is out of control, or my future is uncertain. I haven't had any intense dreams since i was a kid. |

And yes, I've had hallucinations like that. I remember when I was little I was scared to death of a red couch we had, because when I woke up one day, I saw a tiny doll-sized clown smiling inches from my face. I freaked out and tried to bat it away, but it was gone by the time I started swatting. :wtf: |

i know this sounds cheesey but i have come to the conclusion that the evil presence in my dream represents my mother. i have a constant battle with her. not like we fight all the time, we actually get along great these days, but she definitely is always on a mission to have some sort of control over me. i'm pretty sure that's what my dream is about. |

Someone I knew once hallucinated that a "frog-man" was standing in the corner of her room. The thing she saw had a face like a frog but was wearing human clothes and standing like a person. It was about three or four feet tall. And she didn't just hallucinate that it was standing there, but also that it ran out of the room once she looked at it.

I once had a dream that basically was an interpretation of what usually happens in real life. My mom always wakes me up about 15 minutes before we have to be somewhere whenever we have to be somewhere important. She always yells at me to hurry up, and I always flip out saying HOW IN HELL DO YOU EXPECT ME TO BE READY THIS FAST?! I had a dream that played out the same way, woke up and laughed. I told her about it when I got downstairs and she of course acted like she NEVER EVER does that. I'm like MOM, DO YOU REALLY THINK I WOULD DREAM ABOUT IT IF YOU DIDN'T DO IT? :stongue:
