alrighty, here's another techtrance track I made :) I wanted to keep things basic, wrote down the stuff that makes a track energetic and driving, and tried to include everything as minimal as possible. It turned out not quite as expected but its still bangin':) If you ever have to explain tech/trance to anyone, this would be a signature track!

( clicky )

Thanks in advance :)

feedback is always returned!

PS: if anyone can come up with a better name, lets hear it :D

WOW, those percs just jump out!

Loving the reverses. Do you have a plugin to do that for you?

Like that techy synth too.

Aww, get rid of that generic sounding snare sample please :)

That breakbeat is odd, but growing on me..

I like that 80's tom style synth. Goes really well in contrast to the rest of the track.

I just can't get away with that hard panned bass part that comes to the front every time the kick is dropped. It's just too.. out of place..?

Loads of energy in this track. I liked it even though I'm falling out of love with tech trance.

I liked those chord changes later on, I think you should work around these and develop the track to incorporate them as a centrepiece.

Good stuff matey!

i kinda liked those panned basses :) i just thought the kick is too high, while i think a lower (less pitch envelope) kick will fit much better.. also the main synth line sounds too much like your imitating randy katana... try making them different... and the chord progression in that last piece is out of place IMO... also the whole beat should be placed better in the mix IMO its not quite there yet, more tweaking needed IMO, try make it sounding like a real beat that breaths and pumps like a real drummer, consider bandpassing each element to his unique space in the mix... that was my opinion :)

cheers :)

wow, svd in progress :p

The percussion in the beginning is awsome, no remarks about that!

Also the reverb on the chord is to high in mid frequenties or to loud. I dunno, but it sounds all over the place. This might be intentional, but in my taste this kinda reverb is only good for a real short period.

I have to agree with vortex, this does sound like a copy of Randy Katana or Ron Van Den Beuken. It lacks originality

Tech trance is not usually my cup of tea, but I enjoyed this one. The main synths and that background samples correspond each other very well. Overall a good track:)
