Hi guys,
I've come to a problem today with my setup. I went to record a new mix and fired audacity up but for some reason audio is only coming out of my left channel. On my mixer which is Beringer DJX 700 (yes i know it sucks), whats weird is when i turn the master volume to the right side only all the volume dissappears but the volume meter on the master volume on the mixer shows up as if i can hear it and when i turn it in the middle both L & R are next to each other but it seems as nothing is coming out of the right channel but from my PC i can only hear it out of the right speakers? Im a tad confused. I've got the cable running from my master output to my line-in on my sound card.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks. |

Check to make sure your cables are hooked up properly to the back of the mixer & into your sound card. Also, look to see if you have something on your mixer that allows you to pan the sound from one side or the other. If so, make sure it's positioned right in the middle so both speakers get the same output.
Goodluck. |

what he said. If that doesn't work, take your mixer out in the street and give it a good ole office space treatment. |
