[progressive/melodic/trance] Atmotion - Vortex (FULL/320kbps/mp3)

heya all!
here is a new tune with pure sounds rushing through the brain. loads of percussive work used in this. dreamy pads and floating melody with a nice piano added to the mix ;)
some fx could be included later (if you guys think it needs some?). comments are welcome as always!

edit: added major changes to the final version. it is now increased from 128bpm to -> 135.6bpm (5%) and ran i through traktor dj studio with reduced low ends (not as much bass pushing through now). i changed the link for the new file. go grab it ;) |

nice sounds on the start... generic club "intro" (no intro that is :) )... breakdown is kinda empty IMO and the kicking in after it is lacking power IMO...
there also isnt a main theme... its just like all around...
sounds gr8 overall, just minor taste issues i have with it explained above :) |

i totally agree this being just a burst out of my conciousness that just came up as a generic 'all around' trance track. just made something while waiting for myself to make some more deep prog (that i usually like the most).
anyway thanks for the comment since i wasn't sure the mastering was that good.. really have to get better sound systems (headphones etc). |

| I think you have great ideas but you should redo the mixing process on this track becasue all the high end percs are very dominant making the track very tiresome on the ears, plus its really hard to hear other elements of the track. I think that the high end percs need to be brought down and the low end percs need to be brought up. |

| Not bad track, but the hi-hats are far too loud - it's tiring and most importantly - they dominate the whole tune, other elements are sometimes very difficult to hear |

yeah i noticed the hi-hat thing aswell and i will make a better mastered version of it at some point. anyway thanks for the comment :) |
