What Makes U a Tranceaddict? (pg. 2)

Well I live and breath Trance... If I'm at home I have my winamp on all the time, I take my CD player with me to school, and I also use it in the car....
Its just the way it makes me feel, I love the power of this music, its just my perfect music. I listened to Opera, Classical music, etc.. Thats the only real music that moved me at all until trance.. Thats why I admire William Orbit so much, his work is truly amazing and maybe when you young pups get a little older you might find yourself enjoying classical music :D
Another sign of addiction... Every friday night my friends go out to the bar, at around 11pm-12am someone always says "lets go back to Thors place and listen to music". ...... I love it, its soo cool to finally have most of my friends addicted too, we stay up all night and listen to trance :) Thats a perfect night for me!

well, let's not overreact here. just because you're into techno doesn't mean you can't be addicted to trance either. i'm mainly addicted to trance, but i'm addicted to jungle, dnb, and techno. though 85% of my mp3 collection is trance.
i'm sure everyone else can say the same too, that they enjoy other types of electronica, just not as much as trance. :) hehe.
p.s. lay off the caps bud...no need to yell...hehe. |

Uh did i miss something here? Have u looked at the name of this website? thats not to say u have to be a tranceaddict but if u have a problem with others then find the technoaddict site....

True, theres a lot of bollocks trance out there aswell, that does just sound the same, uplifting trance is getting to be a bastard for it... i love the dont get me wrong but some of the ppl that make uplifting trance nowadays dont seem to have the fresh ideas to come up with original structure/style. thats why prog is getting ever more popular :)
What got me into trance?partly the sheer diversity of the genre, the only other genre that is as widely spread (fo fitting different moods i mean) is hip-hop. It doesnt have the same effect on me though. Different feelings i suppose. But the main thing that got me hookedwas just the feeling you get when u hear a class trance track, its uncomparable...
