Seriously... why isn't there a Vegas discussion board? I bet there would be a lot more people and maybe some hook-ups. hint hint.

My friend's and I usually hit up Craig's list before we go out there, there is usually a few promoters that can offer some kind of guest list. Everything is going to be soooo expensive that weekend.

I am excited but totally dreading it at the same time. At least when it's a bunch of chicks we usually make it through the doors. I recommend getting to the clubs super early to avoid hours of lines.

All i know is that i am going to try to be sober for Morillo at TAO, i got kicked out and had to sneak back into TAO a few months ago. It cost me an hr of his set

But still, i cant wait!

I know many of the "VIP Hosts"

You are just paying a lil extra not to wait. (You walk around tipping out there!)

In the past I've learned that presale w/ a hard ticket also works like a charm.

Glad I found this thread! Will be there August 31 - Sept 3. Will be catching Morillo for sure.. sadly have to miss PVD for it. Is Matt Darey playing at the Afterhours of Studio 54? Anybody have any more details on Darey? I don't know how the afterhours works in MGM. Also, is Wet Republic anything like Rehab ie. massive queue and high price to get in? I would like to catch Kaskade and Deadmau5 on that Monday. And any other word on anything happening Monday - Wed?

Cheers!

Alright. I'm pretty pumped for Vegas and (by coincidence, I'm staying at MGM). The best show of the weekend will probably be the Sunday Show at Wet Republic. Still I have several questions I would love some responses to.

So, I haven't been to Tabu, but from the description it sounds small. It sounds like there's like no dance floor at all. But, the show with Roger Sanchez and Borris (I'm assuming if you go for Roger you can stay til they close) sounds like a good show. Anyone have any thoughts on Tabu as a club or an afterhours spot?

If I pass on Tabu, any other places with good electronic scene on Fridays? Maybe Pure's terrace?

Saturday, I'm trying to choose between Oakenfold @ Rain and BT/Devant at 54. I haven't been to Studio54, but it sounds like a pretty cool Vegas venue.

I've veered away from trance or at least the type where it sounds like you're floating. Which of the two options above involves less floating? I haven't see BT or Oakenfold in a while...

Sunday is going great with either Morillo or Dubfire following Wet Republic.

It's too bad that Empire Ballroom shut their doors b/c I would be there for sure one or more of the nights.

Anyway, any suggestions /advice would be appreciated.

TABU is TINY!!!!!!!!!

Chances of getting in are horrible, with a headliner like Roger it will be jam packed until 8am.

There really isn't a dance floor, more like vip/tables scattered around everywhere.

That place will be at capacity with in minutes of the doors opening, so if you want to go get there VERY early and prepare to wait...

Thanks for feedback on TABU. I would try to do pre-sales...if they ever go on sale, but will probably just take a pass on the venue altogether.

Does anyone know when/if pre-sales will be available for Labor Day weekend? I've only seen a couple of shows on sale.
