Dry Company christmas parties

has anyone heard of these?
i just found out that EB does not support alcohol at their Christmases parties.
the last company that i worked for supported an OPEN BAR at Christmas parties.
it was fantastic, and to boot, it was at pool hall
but what ever. that's not the point.
dry ing Christmas parties suck....i heard that last year they had to sneak into other peoples conventions just to get some beer. |

| I used to work at a video store when I was 17-19. Even at age 17, full bar was open to all of us at the Christmas party, and I got smashed at every single one. |

| I guess it makes sense if half the staff are 16 year old. Never experienced it personally though. I've only ever been to two staff parties, one of them involved everyone getting really wasted along with some vague memories of making out with my boss and then strolling into the street at 3 am, pissing off cops and ending up eating poutine in a local restaurant. The other party also ended up in total (though lesser) drunkeness and watching my bosses sing kareoke. :wtf: |

EB Games doesn't technically exist anymore. Gamestop turned them all... into Gamestops.

Do you really hate your workplace and workmates that much?
Granted, you spend 8-10 hours with these people a day, but are they that bad that you don't want to see them at all besides what is absolutely necessary? |
