Hello all,
Unfortunately it's with great sadness that I must inform everyone that Michael Turner tragically passed away last night, June 27th at approximately 10:42 pm in Santa Monica, Ca. Turner had been dealing with recent health complications arisen in the past few weeks. More details concerning Turner's passing, and services, will be given shortly.

Any comic fan here knows who Michael Turner is.From his beginning with Marc Silvestris Top Cow studios to branching and forming his own company starting with Fathom,Mike was always working on something breathtaking to give to the fans.
i knew him when he first started workiing in the comics field and you could tell how happy he was just to be there.He signed every autograph down to the last fan and he always had one of the biggest lines at the show.Even after he was diagnosed with cancer he continued to draw and make sure the fans always had something new from him.
After his initial recovery he worked even harder in the comics field,branching out and doing work for not only his own company but Marvel,DC,Image and so many more.All for the fans.
Year in and year out id see him at the shows.He never complained.He was always happy.And he always had a smile on his face for the fans.
I worked in the comics field for over 17 years and i can say he was one of the nicest artists not the mention one if the nicest people ive had the pleasure of meeting in not only the comic field,but anywhere.
The world has lost a great person.And the comic world has lost a tremendous artist.Rest in peace Mike.You will not be forgotton.
