Although I'm a huge fan of epic house and the vocals used in tracks from that genre have grown on me, I do not like the vocals in "Bedrock - For what you dream of". That song would pretty much be perfect without them.

Two tracks that come to mind are Vincent De Moor's vocal version of Fly Away and that vocal version of Plastic Boy's Live Another Life. :nervous:

does 'most' exclude angry skies? that's one of my favourite vocal tracks ever (terrestrial vox mix 2)

i think the full vocal mix of communication part 2 rules on high here, although some others that come to mind:

ronald van gelderen - crying out
pink flood - insecurity (shane 54 remix) [although i like the tune so much i've come to get used to them]
ronski speed vs stoneface & terminal - soulseeker (sf&t mix) [thank there was a dub!]
tom porcell - not tonight (bias brothers remix)
sensorica - baikonur spaceport (more spoken sample than vocal but seriously WTF: http://mp3.juno.co.uk/MP3/SF1253011-02-01-01.mp3)

i do too. i'm by no means a suissa fan (besides clear blue water & autumn tactics) but those vocals worked for me, even on the original (helps the first time i heard the tune was with the vocal, i guess). it may be pink fluffy unicorn trance at its pinnacle but it has a kind of naive, childlike & unpretentious feel about it i find oddly alluring..

although saying that, it depends on how much you read into lyrics but they've always struck me as having a subtle daker side. 'they keep me in a dark room / so i can have my visions' strike me as the words of a clinically insane person who's been locked away for believing in a utopian future / eternal life. it's likely this was completely unintended by whoever wrote them but still, it struck a chord. i've had the acapella for years now & wanted to make something decent of it, just never really gotten round to committing myself

Oh yeah, and nearly every song with a spoken word by some black preacher guy... such an overused and unnecessary cliche.
