What do you guys prefer for pitch bending, the buttons or the jog wheel
I have denon cdjs and always use the pitch bend buttons... I find them really easy and convenient and I find the jog wheel on other tables (i.e. pioneer) to be an unnecessary hassle... but maybe that would change if I got used to it
What do you guys think? |

I vote wheel and I predict wheel will be the method of choice for a majority. There is more control with a wheel. Want to bend only a little? Move the jog wheel a small amount. Want to bend a lot? Then move the jog weel further.
Buttons can never be as useful as the wheel. |

Wow to anyone who says buttons :wtf: just wow.
I guess it goes to show that everything reaaaallllly boils down to personal preference.
But pitch bend buttons :wtf: |

I voted buttons..... I jus think they are way easier..... I can beat match most songs within 10 seconds with the buttons
wheel seems to take longer
I have a feeling most of you guys are just people who buy strictly pioneer
btw when you guys use the jog wheel do you usually use cdj mode or vinyl mode
and with the buttons you can control the amount of pitch bend same as a wheel, tap it and it goes a little... hold it down and it can go on forever |

most will vote wheel as most pioneers don't have buttons.
when I had a cmx i used the buttons to keep long mixes in time, was just easy to give a quick tap. I never used it when intially matching the pitches though, used the wheel for that. I never got the hang of the buttons getting faster and faster the longer you held it. |

| I'm the wheel all the way, I find using buttons to pitch bend really frustrating, but that is because I learned on a jog wheel. |

| I voted wheel. Then again, I have never had the chance to try buttons. |

the feel of the wheel on the pioneer's is great, i use buttons though when i use the denon decks
it's a more intuitive feel with the wheel
...and yes, i rhyme all the time :wtf: |

| Buttons. Im just used to working with them. I have also jog wheel, but buttons feels more accurate. But im feeling that the change to wheel is gonna be pretty painless after practising. |
