http://movies.yahoo.com/movie/1809838857/video/8831867/
On July 19, 2006, The Hollywood Reporter reported that comic book writer/artist Frank Miller would write and direct the feature film The Spirit[8], previously announced as a project in 2004.[9][10] The trade magazine reported the production company would be Odd Lot Entertainment, with executive producers including Batfilm Productions' Michael Uslan, Benjamin Melniker, and Steven Maier, and producers to include Odd Lot's Linda McDonough and Batfilm's F.J. DeSanto. Miller later confirmed this.[11] The film, starring Gabriel Macht as the Spirit and Samuel L. Jackson as his enemy the Octopus, is scheduled for release by Lionsgate on December 25, 2008. |

I can't tell from the trailer if the movie is going to be one those that is entertaining if you take it for what it is, or if it's going to be just plain stupid.
Of course, I feel the same way about Dirk. |

Good point Steve. I thought Sin City was pretty good, and the graphics were insane (black'n'white, yellow blood, etc...) and this movie here looks like its sorta follows that idea. It's the same producer, too. I wouldn't wait in some long line at the theatres to see it. |

I thought it looked a little like Sim City. Now that I know it's from the same producer, I'll pass. That movie sucked. You're right, the graphics were really cool. The story line just sucked though. Too bad. It has a great cast of actors. |
