great to see Avalon getting the respect it deserves. It's definetly one of my favorite clubs. Avalon also had a nice write up in the latest mixmag issue or was that djmag.... Gonna be a great night. Im sure Droog will take care of business, and booka shade will show why they are one of the current top live acts, but it's going to be Trent Cantrelle that blows up the night!

i will be there! flying into LA on thurs. Booka shade then Trent is going to go bonkers as normal. we will be partying all weekend, I cant wait!!!

i know who you are! you better come out to see trent. we got 40 peeps flying in from all over the states for this, and a whole section for our party...
i cant believe its finally here, been waiting for a long time. the launch is for the new sounds like nite which is the birth of his new label and party, it will be coming to miami 2 weeks after when we do a sounds like party here aug 9th. bigger things to come in the future for sure.

AVALAND Hollywood celebrates it's 4 Year Anniversary this week with electronic music's most prodigious live act - Booka Shade. Booka Shade has been busy recently touring the world in support of their 3rd album - The Sun and the Neon Light - which included a recent stop in So Cal at uber festival Coachella. Armed with an entire new album, Booka Shade's follow up performance to their amazing March 2007 show at Avalon will be an unforgettable night that will remind us why we love electronic music so much. Trent Cantrelle will play an extended closing set after Booka Shade to launch his Sounds Like Avaland Residency. If you have been to Avalon recently you might have been lucky enough to pick up Trent's mixed CD that has been floating around the club. Our residents Droog open the night who just played a great closing set this past Saturday after Sebastien Leger in the main room.
The terrace is hosted by Urban LA Nights - our other Avaland Residents made up of Cameron Van Peebles and Sean O'Hara. Monday Night Social hosts the Honey room this week with Freddy Be and Kazell.
