i have the solution.
buy my vw. i have 7 cars sitting in my driveway and it has to go
1989 vw golf, non turbo diesel (1200 km to a tank of diesel)
almost 80% of the car has been rebuilt since i got it 2 years ago
all 4 springs, struts, mounting hardware and strut moutning bearings replaced
front calipers, rear wheel cylinders and master cylinder replaced,
new clutch cable
new exhaust
new emergency brake cables.
new gas struts for rear hatch
glow plugs replaced last winter
2 season old snow tires up front, perrellis in the rear(i have one extra snow tire i'll throw in)
both outter tie rods replaced last fall
fuel filter replaced this winter
regular oil changed with high quality 15w40 rotella oil and vw oil filter
water pump and timing belt change last fall
recent starter
recent ac delco battery (one of the best on the market)
minor injection pump reseal done in the fall
crossover coolant pipe replaced 2 years ago with new vw piece
im sure there is more that i have done i just can't remember.
new air filter last month
and i'll throw in a free vw oil filter that i never got a chance to use since i pulled it off the road last month.
floor is in pretty good shape, did alot of repairs this spring, no holes anymore.
blaupunkt cd mp3 deck, infinity speakers up front, infinity speakers in the rear with pioneer 6x9's. (cost over $400)
high miallege car(odometer is broken). but starts, runs great, drives straight. I always used either diesel additive (power service or standyne) or 2 stroke oil with every tank. bio diesel ready. hell you can run used engine oil as fuel (which i have done alot) it'll burn pretty much anything.
only thing it needs for safety is a windshield, but you can probably get your mechanic to pass it without it.
1700 obo as is |

did u not read it is ready to run bio diesel. i have already run like 30 tanks of the stuff. although its not worth running bio cause it costs more unless you make it yourself.
but you can't run it in the winter months. |

they have conversion kits to drive on hydrogen nowadays. saves thousands in gas a year.
only thing is i dont trust my car running on in hydrogen when its designed to run on ethanol |

and there are no stations to fill up
ethanol absorbs too much water |
