So i'm in Lausanne, Switzerland, awaiting my beach volleyball tournament and it turns out the the famed Jazz Fest is right across Lake Geneva, about 20 min away.
Anyone ever been to it? I'm thinking about hitting up Gnarls Barkley tomorrow and High Contrast sunday night, all pending how the tourney goes!
Also, anyone been to Riga, Latvia? Any good info would be really appreciated.

Neither could I Ben, but the festival is very diverse from what i heard. I'm sure it will be a good time.

you gotta love it when festival organizers try and experiment with a wide variety of sounds rather than sticking to the 1 genre 1 festival type of formula you often find

Seriously, i mean they have djs, acts like Wu Tang, N.E.R.D, Deep Purple, BB King, Raconteurs, Gnarls, Erikah Badu, Nazareth, Interpol, Lenny, etc etc. Thats a nice variety of sounds.
And Katie, there is no way in hell i'm missing High Contrast!
