01. Original Mix (Sample)
02. Marc Romboy Mix (Sample)
03. Oliver Klein and Peter Jurgens Mix
Release Date N/A
Really a huge release for me right now - the original mix is a chuggy little dubby sounding techno number that has the trance noises I do love so much in it, loads of fun. Definitely loopy, repetitive techno that will work well only when someone plays it proper, however.
The Romboy mix is where this release really shines, however, it is incredibly simple, but chuggy, hits on all the right levels for me. The bassline is simple but thick and chuggy, and the synth line that carries the tune is definitely the kind of "bob your head" techno I am absolutely loving right now, and it builds to an absolutely monstrous peak. Romboy may well be my favorite producer right now - guy has done nothing but fire for a long, long time. Detroit + Germany = Win.
The Klein and Jurgens is, unfortunately, where the package really falls apart. Bog standard tech-house/minimal that doesn't really do anything for me at all. Just wasn't feeling it in the least - seemed like it could have just about any of the random "hip" producers names on it and sounded the same.
In any event, more samples and release info once I've got them. Check out the sample for the original at least, and I'll see if I can manage to either find or up one of the Romboy mix.
