OK. we all know how many parties are going on in montreal the weekand of the F1 grand prix. If your reading this..your're going and u must know some venue to go to. Well. Were do u plan to go when there is such a choice?? And for those who don't know they can get more ideas. Me I want to see teisto but that means being up til 5 am at least on sunday. When I shoude be up @ 8 am for the race. Maybe I will go to Aria to see what its like on friday. Any Maybe I wiill go to club stereo cause i wanted to see it last year. What r u doing?

Hmmmmmm as the date approaches I am no longer 100% sure I'm going.. I just haven't found a job yet and if I start anything soon, it'd be so lame to ask for that weekend off..
but IF I DID GO, I wouldn't miss Tiesto.. the rest? I guess we'll jump off that bridge when we get there |

| I was planning on staying over on that weekend because I work in Montreal during the week but suddenly the corporate hotel rate I've been getting ($119/night) shot up to $350/night! I hear Montreal is the place to be for Grand Prix but it's way too expensive for me! |

$20 a nite @ mcgill rez is wrong. #1 all rez have been sold out for 2 month and i bought rooms @ the rez. That week it goes up from $28 a nite to $58 a nite. That is very good. Also last yr i stayed @ a place out montreal...20-30mins. Payed killer rates for cabs. had to wait long for cabs. eventually with travelling into town every night i would have been better off staying in town. $50 bucks a nite for cab both ways. I am not exagerating. Yes, it is expensive but if u know ppl and know the ways it is affordable to enjoy f1 week in montreal.

And who would take a taxi when you have a good mass trnsit system. Its very cheap and open from 5:00 am till 1:30am the next day... anyways during the off hours there's the night buses and most people party :D As long you're in the city of Montreal you should be ok.

i wanted to go for the race..but had no money at the time to buy tickets
now i wanna go at least for the weekend cos im sure its gonna be mad there and im legal there(lol) now that i hear tiesto TOO will be there???and im legal??? i GOTTA GOOOOOOOOOOOO
only problem is.....anyone willing to lemme hitch a ride or any other cheaper alternative?

Let me save you some time here....everything in Mtl is BOOKED. I stressed for two days, calling hotels, motels, hostels and residences, and absolutely nothing. And that was last Tuesday. I called places outside the city as well. it's ridiculous. But you figure with 57 million viewers watching the F1 races....there's gonna be a few more people than usual in Mtl that weekend! :eek:
I'm thrilled I'm going to Mtl this weekend - can't believe I get to hear my two fave DJs on the same weekend in the same city!
Aria - Misstress B - 4-8am <---rowwwwwr! :D
Forza - Tiesto - 3-7am <-----more rowwwwr! :D :D
My BF and I met in line at Kool haus last October the night Tiesto spun...so it's kind of a special thing for us. *awwww*
