I agree totally. When I saw the previews for the dark knight while he was still alive I definitely thought that he acting was potentially oscar worthy (not positive b/c I hadn't seen the movie yet). His death has nothing would (should) have nothing to do with his nomination.

tbh, I don't know. I watched it in the morning, and then when this thread came up, it took me a LONG time to find it again - it doesn't come up in any searches unless you search for its exact title.
